—–“When you can actually taste a meal you are eating you feel so much alive.” (haruki Murakami. Norwegian Wood)

5/ 24/17. The most interesting thing I saw– for me I am Liberian by heart, when I go to the supermarket I am looking for ingredients to add to my cooking; And am also watching what people are buying. To see if I can test out that ingredient that they are buying. As for today I way in a hurry so I grab a box of Fufu flour to meet up with a friend who was cooking some pepper soup this evening. As I am making my way down the aisle. I saw a young man around 27 years old. Appears to be dress with swag. An oversize jeans, over size tee shirt and designer sneaker and the slay walk to go with his swag. There I notice a basket in his hand as he was carrying some groceries, them he came closer to me and stand in line. There I noticed as he was putting his groceries on the groceries bell to get ring up. I noticed he had a large portion of his groceries appears to be “chicken feet” meat. My God I taught to myself. “You want to tell me this dude is going eat chicken feet.” I guess I shouldn’t judge a person’s looks compare to the foods they eat. The only thing I could think about in that groceries line. “Maybe he is Liberian like myself”, maybe he enjoys “chicken feet” too.
